The 250 acres of University campus, named ‘Vidya Vihar’, are located off the Raebareli road, about 10 kilometres south of Charbagh, the main railway station of Lucknow. One of the chief objectives of the University is to cater to, and promote, the educational needs of marginalized people, particularly the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes communities, and women.
